The following information is available FREE of charge from your PC:

  • Verify if a check has cleared and the amount
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Issue stop payments (a fee will apply)
  • Re-order checks on-line (a fee will apply)
  • Receive e-mail alerts
  • Apply for a loan

For a nominal monthly fee*, you can add our online bill payment service that allows you to pay bills electronically to virtually anyone through a safe and secure environment. You can schedule automatic or recurring payments up to 364 days in advance. Come by any location and fill out an application.

*A $5.95 monthly service charge will be automatically deducted from the primary checking account in order to use the bill payment service. This fee covers 15 bill pays per month. Any transactions in excess of 15 will incur a .55 charge per transaction.

Greeneville Federal Bank now offers you round-the-clock account access with the new Direct Teller® 24-Hour Telephone Banking System. By calling the number listed above, you can obtain account information all at the touch of a button. All you need to do is provide your ten-digit account number and password. Getting the information you need has never been faster or easier!

Direct Teller® Services

With Direct Teller®, account information is at your fingertips. Direct Teller® functions include:

Checking and Savings Accounts
General inquiry information, including current and available balance, history information, and faxing of interim statements since the last statement date. (A $2.00 charge applies for faxed copies of statements.)

Certificates of Deposit
General inquiry information, including account balance, maturity date, interest rate, etc.

Mortgage and Consumer Loans
General information, including current balance, payment amount, due date, interest rate, etc.

Getting Started with Direct Teller®

1. Enter the Direct Teller® telephone number (1-800-436-5174) on your touch-tone phone.

2. Following the Direct Teller® instructions, enter your:

Account Number: For most accounts, you must first identify at which branch the account was opened. Enter “01” for the main office, or “02” for the Tusculum Boulevard branch, or “03” for the 11-E By-pass location.

For checking, enter the branch number followed by the eight-digit account number located at the bottom of your checks.

For savings, enter the branch number and "00". Then enter the six-digit account number listed in your passbook.

For certificates of deposit, simply enter the ten-digit account number listed in your passbook.

For consumer loans, enter the branch number and “00”. Then enter the last six digits of the account number on your coupon book.

For mortgage loans, enter the branch number and “00”. Then enter the six-digit account number listed in your passbook.

Password: The pre-defined Direct Teller® password will be the last four digits of the primary social security number on the account.

3. Select any of the Direct Teller® account options, including account inquiries, histories, fax-back services. For fax-back service, have your fax number ready. (A $2.00 charge applies to all fax-back services.)
